Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Jastreb's Börje Forsberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jastreb's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 4th minute of play. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Sigfrido Auletta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Navarro Montoya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Börje Forsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jastreb's Navarro Montoya. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jastreb's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Imants Blasāns in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Jastreb's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 21st minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vanja Dimitrijević, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Jastreb were awarded a corner. Vanja Dimitrijević went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Börje Forsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jastreb's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Siricio Liotta took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Navarro Montoya. Navarro Montoya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jastreb's goalkeeper Navarro Montoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Jastreb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Börje Forsberg went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Siricio Liotta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Navarro Montoya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After having played for 54 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Jastreb got a freekick which was hit by Miran Tudor. In the 59th minute, Marco Materazzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Jastreb's Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Navarro Montoya came out and tried to block the shot, but Zaccheo Andolina slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duško Zambata in the 64th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Navarro Montoya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Navarro Montoya in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sigfrido Auletta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jastreb's Bo Cantona was substituted for Börje Forsberg. Zaccheo Andolina scored 1-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Navarro Montoya, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Deodato Magliozzi. After 80 played minutes Jastreb got a freekick which was hit by Miran Tudor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Cantona in the 84th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miran Tudor who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Jastreb's corner Miran Tudor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Navarro Montoya in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the game, Imants Blasāns threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zaccheo Andolina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Navarro Montoya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
