The audience was convinced that Gerardo Isidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Horacio Jobo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, 洪鹰国 dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Jobo, 1-0. 洪鹰国 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Horacio Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 洪鹰国 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, River Lu FC's Cosme Txaran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Jobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosme Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Zubillaga getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Carlos Artaldo hit a great ball. 34 minutes in the game Pastor Santana got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Clemente Fonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Ignacio Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Jobo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cosme Txaran sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ignacio Loren made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Zubillaga were awarded a corner. Celedonio Dolfos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Zubillaga's corner Celedonio Dolfos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeronimo Pio quite easily take care of the ball. Horacio Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 洪鹰国, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Abelardo Platon hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zubillaga's zone, Gerardo Isidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Jobo came out of the goal and Gerardo Isidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Zubillaga's goal looked a bit too open when 洪鹰国 came free, but Horacio Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Zubillaga defense, Cosme Txaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Jobo. The Zubillaga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Jobo should have stopped the shot. Celso Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jobo having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Ignacio Loren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 95 minutes into the game, River Lu FC's Cosme Txaran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Jobo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There was no doubt that River Lu FC were the better team. River Lu FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
