Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anibal Mirande kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Ceibalito AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Anibal Mirande hit a great ball. Guido Ixidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Laurgain having to make a save. Eduardo Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, ROBBIE FOWLER's Joel Haimar tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Ceibalito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Obeko. In the 15th minute of the match Joel Haimar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Laurgain skillfully saved the ball. Craig Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Humberto Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Craig Brady in the 21st minute of play forced Ceibalito AFC's goalkeeper Humberto Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Anibal Mirande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Constantino Izotz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Craig Brady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Laurgain having to interfere. Guido Ixidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Humberto Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Mirande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Ixidor in the 43rd minute of play forced Ceibalito AFC's goalkeeper Humberto Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Ceibalito AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Ixidor to make the kick off. When Craig Brady came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the ROBBIE FOWLER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Craig Brady couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Guido Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROBBIE FOWLER's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th match minute, Ceibalito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Conrao to maneuver through the defense. When Craig Brady came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the ROBBIE FOWLER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Craig Brady couldn't finish the play. Craig Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Humberto Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Craig Brady, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Ixidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Ixidor struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Humberto Laurgain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROBBIE FOWLER. Guido Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Laurgain having to interfere. Craig Brady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Humberto Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Laurgain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Brady in the 95th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Guido Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROBBIE FOWLER's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceibalito AFC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ROBBIE FOWLER's much stronger midfield.
