A collision led to Longchamps AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Norberto Mino hit a great ball. Melquiades Ascencio's late challenge caught a Cañada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melquiades Ascencio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Longchamps AFC's Melquiades Ascencio got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Dalmacio Chuse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Soin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Victorio Toli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Longchamps AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Toli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florencio Nesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 25 minutes, Aurelio Eutor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Eutor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Soin having to interfere. If Aurelio Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ivan Jago fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cañada's protests and gave Ivan Jago a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Jago hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Maurino in the 32nd minute of play forced Cañada's goalkeeper Florencio Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Nesto having to interfere. Florencio Nesto made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Victorio Toli sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute Aurelio Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Soin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Savion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Nesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Alberto Maurino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Florencio Nesto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Maurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
