The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. Norberto Olivar kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Campeche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Bonifaco came free, but Hector Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Bonifaco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Seguinus saved Campeche FC from getting behind. In the 21st minute Cristian Aureo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Rene Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes, Luján AFC's Gaudencio Abel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hector Seguinus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luján AFC reached it. Hector Seguinus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Bonifaco's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Bernabe Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Hats having to interfere. Luis Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Hats having to interfere. Luján AFC's Evaristo Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Batista in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Batista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Clemente Ipar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Aureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Gurutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimeno Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Evaristo Hats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Hats having to interfere. Jorge Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hector Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Gurutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Campeche FC booed when Luján AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luján AFC's Evaristo Hats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Gurutz in the 91st minute of play. If Cristian Aureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Campeche FC had won after a very even match.
