Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galarza AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Lore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hajo Vorbeck made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Adriana Lorenz sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Lore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Ekhi in the 24th minute of play. Hugo Lore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Goiz went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Gerardo Ekhi kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Hajo Vorbeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Escorpion FC's Matias Goiz in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galarza AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gaudencio Nayely struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Hugo Lore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escorpion FC. In the 37th minute, Matias Goiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Lore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Maximiliano Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hugo Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Escorpion FC's Matias Goiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Lore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Matias Goiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escorpion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Goiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Galarza AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Escorpion FC were winning 0-3.

When Gualterio Valerio fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galarza AFC's protests and gave Gualterio Valerio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Galarza AFC's Gualterio Valerio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With an all-out effort, Escorpion FC's Hugo Lore threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matias Goiz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 57 minutes Galarza AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matias Goiz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Escorpion FC's corner Matias Goiz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Lore quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Matias Goiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Lore was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Gualterio Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Matias Goiz sped through Galarza AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Lore. After a defensive mix-up in Escorpion FC's zone, Gualterio Valerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hajo Vorbeck came out of the goal and Gualterio Valerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Escorpion FC's Matias Goiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Lore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a little luck, Galarza AFC's Hugo Lore got control of the ball when Matias Goiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galarza AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Gaudencio Nayely scored to the left of an out of position Hugo Lore, making the score, 0-6. Escorpion FC played a much better game than Galarza AFC and deserved their victory. The Galarza AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
