Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abelardo Matro started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Patricio Matro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macomitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Matro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Macomitas FC booed when Mencué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Macomitas FC's Roman Pepillo tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Mencué's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Piarres came free, but Serafin Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Miro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Piarres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Gaston Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Serafin Miro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute of the match, Gaston Piarres tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Serafin Miro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Mencué's Ivan Ederono got a free kick in the 21st minute. Abelardo Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abelardo Matro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes, Camilo Senen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macomitas FC and the Mencué players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Serafin Miro made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Patricio Matro sent off a good shot on target. Gaston Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Miro having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Piarres to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Matro in the 52nd minute of the match. If Pedro Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Patricio Matro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macomitas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Matro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Mencué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. In the 74thth minute of the game Gaston Piarres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mencué's Serafin Miro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Cordarrell during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Macomitas FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Angel Cordarrell hit a great ball. Abelardo Matro took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejo Nevada. Alejo Nevada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A hard shot by Anier Iratze from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Alejo Nevada's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mencué players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Macomitas FC.
