Silvestre Sabin scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Bastian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Cuervos's goalkeeper Narciso Marcones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 played minutes FC Cuervos got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Cutberto. Enzo Amor missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 21 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Narciso Marcones right hand side. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Ovando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Bastian was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 26 played minutes FC Cuervos got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Ovando. Narciso Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Baladi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Cornelio Ovando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guido Bastian. The goal made the score 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Enzo Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carboni's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Amor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Marcones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albano Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Marcones having to interfere. Narciso Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Abilio in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Ovando to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Albano Abilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Marcones was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Guido Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Sabin in the 59th minute of the match. If Enrique Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Guido Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Romo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Sabin in the 79th minute of play forced Carboni's goalkeeper Guido Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Cuervos's Narciso Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Abilio in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Firme in the 86th minute of play forced FC Cuervos's goalkeeper Narciso Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Santos Tab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carboni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cuervos the free kick. The supporters of FC Cuervos booed when Carboni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Tab didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Cuervos's Silvestre Sabin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Cuervos were victorious despite being under pressure from Carboni for much of the match.
