To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mateo Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ANAHUC N.L's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Cerilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anselmo Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Silvio Matei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match Baldomero Eneko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Luken skillfully saved the ball.
