Lisandro Ereinotz ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Desaguaredo's Gogo Gomez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ariel Harri's late challenge caught a Desaguaredo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Harri helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Tostado defense, Lisandro Ereinotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Naelio. The Tostado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Naelio should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Naelio was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. If Guaberto Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostado's Marcelo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Bento in the 21st minute of play. When Desaguaredo's Guaberto Bento in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 28th minute Diego Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Luis Bernabel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desaguaredo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tostado the free kick. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Desaguaredo! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guaberto Bento made a kick off. Diego Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miguel Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lauren in the 55th minute of play. Miguel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Tirso in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Tostado booed when Desaguaredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Simon Tirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Simon Tirso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tostado's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Tirso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Malvin having to interfere. The referee ignored Desaguaredo's protests and gave Abelardo Buinton a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Desaguaredo got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Buinton. Simon Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Miguel Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Desaguaredo's Abelardo Buinton got a free kick in the 85th minute. Marcelo Naelio came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Desaguaredo's Lisandro Ereinotz. But to his dismay, Lisandro Ereinotz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Tirso in the 95th minute of play forced Desaguaredo's goalkeeper Miguel Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Tostado supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Desaguaredo's performance. The match ended with a win for Desaguaredo.
