Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Carapaligüe FC's Roberto Diegotxe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Fidel Tallia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Labrador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fidel Tallia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ramon Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Deportivo Labrador's Keith Combie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Baladi in the 18th minute of play. Bonifacio Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Combie having to interfere. Keith Combie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Diegotxe in the 22nd minute of the match. When Fidel Tallia came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Club Deportivo Labrador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Tallia couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Carapaligüe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Tallia came free, but Ramon Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anier Daunte fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Labrador's protests and gave Anier Daunte a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Club Deportivo Labrador getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anier Daunte hit a great ball. Leopoldo Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ramon Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carapaligüe FC's Ramon Erasto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Juvenal in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute Leopoldo Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bonifacio Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keith Combie having to interfere. Bonifacio Patxi took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keith Combie. Keith Combie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 66th minute Bonifacio Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keith Combie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Esteban Pacorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Juan Cresenciano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramon Erasto skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th match minute, Club Deportivo Labrador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Nazario to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Patxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rdth minute of the game Fidel Tallia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carapaligüe FC's Ramon Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Club Deportivo Labrador booed when Carapaligüe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Erasto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juan Cresenciano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Patxi in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Labrador's goalkeeper Keith Combie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Club Deportivo Labrador's Ramon Erasto threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fidel Tallia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute, Bonifacio Patxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keith Combie was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Carapaligüe FC. Vinicio Pepillo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keith Combie. 3-1. Carapaligüe FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
