Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) MERIDA AFC's Igor Gomez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clodoveo Valiente made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ladislao Ilazki sent off a good shot on target. Ernesto Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Flor in the 12th minute of play. Ladislao Ilazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Clodoveo Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Gasteiz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Gomez in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Gasteiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Pismanta's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Flor came free, but Ernesto Gasteiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Valiente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Eneko in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Ladislao Ilazki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Valiente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, MERIDA AFC's goalkeeper Clodoveo Valiente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Ilazki. In the 43rd match minute, Pismanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Macerio to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Gasteiz came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by MERIDA AFC's Igor Gomez. But to his dismay, Igor Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Eneko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Aires's late challenge caught a MERIDA AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Aires helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pismanta getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gaspar Dantae hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Diego Eneko made a precise shot to the right of Clodoveo Valiente. MERIDA AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 75 minutes into the game, Gaspar Dantae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pismanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MERIDA AFC the free kick. In the 75th minute, Gaspar Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Ilazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Clodoveo Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Tobias Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Pismanta got a corner. MERIDA AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rigoberto Harri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alejo Flor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Ernesto Gasteiz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Alejo Flor came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the MERIDA AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Flor couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the MERIDA AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pismanta.
