Melchor Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jairo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Valle FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tadeo Panpili hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Luyaba AFC's Honorio Garikoitz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Honorio Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jairo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valle FC's Diego Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Luyaba AFC's zone, Diego Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Cesario came out of the goal and Diego Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jairo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Honorio Garikoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luyaba AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Garikoitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Abeitia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Melchor Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melchor Caetano made a kick off. Diego Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Cesario having to interfere. Domingo Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nemesio Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Cesario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Luyaba AFC's goalkeeper Serafin Cesario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeo Panpili. In the 62nd minute Melchor Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafin Cesario made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Bernal in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Luyaba AFC's Florencio Ereinotz got a free kick in the 68th minute. Higinio Merexildo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Luyaba AFC's Melchor Caetano in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
