Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) When Florencio Danel came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Humahuaca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Danel couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute Hipolito Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Humahuaca FC's Florencio Danel got a free kick in the 9th minute. Delmar Aznar hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Humahuaca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Crispo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Mateo Bertol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humahuaca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Bertol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Humahuaca FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Bertol to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Hondo in the 52nd minute of play forced Humahuaca FC's goalkeeper Martin Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Gar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Amor in the 59th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Humahuaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Abarca. In the last second Venancio Nuno throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mateo Bertol in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Florencio Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Bertol in the 68th minute of play forced Lanús's goalkeeper Venancio Nuno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 70 played minutes Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Jax. Ubaldo Chinto, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Martin Gar went to the wrong direction when Delmar Aznar was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Hipolito Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Nuno made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Florencio Danel sent off a good shot on target. Mateo Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Martin Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Humahuaca FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
