The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Gauargi got free with Venancio Nuno in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes Arsenio Favila rounded Lanús's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.
