Jesus Cai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Serafino Vitin. 0-1. 8 minutes into the game, Maximino Valerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hunter AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zonet U-21 the free kick. Maximino Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Serafino Vitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Zonet U-21 defense, Maximino Valerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Vitin. The Zonet U-21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Vitin should have stopped the shot. Hunter AFC's Maximino Valerio got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafino Vitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Valerio in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Gaueko in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofilo Hug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Gaueko's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Evaristo Vitin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Bernardino Gaueko struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Teofilo Hug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonet U-21. Teofilo Hug was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Bernardino Gaueko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernardino Gaueko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After the first half Hunter AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miguel Inautzi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jesus Cai, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Maximino Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Vitin having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Zonet U-21 got a freekick which was hit by Santos Santos. Maximino Valerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hunter AFC's Jacobo Caetano in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zonet U-21's goalie prevented a goal. Lino Sarracino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Vitin having to interfere. Hunter AFC's Teofilo Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Maties in the 77th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Zonet U-21's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Caetano came free, but Serafino Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Vitin having to interfere.
