The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Bikendi during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Tacurales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Bikendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abel Jordy came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tacurales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Jordy couldn't finish the play. Esteve Manny charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteve Manny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Palmar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Manny. 30 minutes into the match, Abel Jordy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Oto, 2-0. Eusebio Jacob charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Jacob the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tacurales FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Eusebio Jacob hit a great ball. Joel Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Castulo having to interfere. Joel Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Elvio Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Orkatz was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Tacurales FC's Elvio Castulo got control of the ball when Joel Etxahun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Etxahun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Elvio Castulo made a huge save. Joel Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Castulo having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Joel Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Palmar AFC's Claudio Orkatz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elvio Castulo. Elvio Castulo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Anselmo Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Christian Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Txilar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gavino Remir hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Christian Oto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Txilar's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Tacurales FC got a freekick which was hit by Adriana Joey. When Joel Etxahun came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Palmar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Etxahun couldn't finish the play. Paolo Francesco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Nicolas Txilar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Oto. Palmar AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Txilar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 83rd minute of the match Luis Bikendi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Oto skillfully saved the ball. Abel Jordy struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Christian Oto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tacurales FC. After 94 played minutes, Tacurales FC's Luis Bikendi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Oto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tacurales FC reached it.
