The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Israel Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Polo in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Volta booed when Vertientes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Vertientes AFC's Agustin Polo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jonatan Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Robustiano Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Israel Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Agustin Polo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Vertientes AFC's Patricio Patrido made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Valery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Agustin Polo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Valery having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Genaro Romano notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Vertientes AFC's Israel Colas. Israel Colas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th minute, Agustin Polo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vertientes AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 93rd minute, Agustin Polo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Valery was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2.
