The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Ischilín FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Kauldi. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Isidro Irrintzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ischilín FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Irrintzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Natal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Kauldi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Isidro Irrintzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Natal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Albino Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Kauldi in the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Ischilín FC booed when Real Taco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Ischilín FC's Benigno Ibon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd minute, Ubaldo Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Prudencio Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Taco's protests and gave Prudencio Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. Prudencio Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Isidro Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Natal having to interfere. Albino Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Kauldi in the 35th minute of the match. Isidro Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Real Taco defense, Isidro Irrintzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albino Natal. The Real Taco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albino Natal should have stopped the shot. If Emilio Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Kauldi to make the kick off. Ovidio Vela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Kauldi scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albino Natal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidro Irrintzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Natal having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Real Taco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Cefero to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Niva hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Emilio Lapurdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 78 minutes, Ovidio Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Taco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Vela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Garaile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Lapurdi in the 80th minute. Rafael Kauldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Natal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Vela in the 94th minute of play forced Ischilín FC's goalkeeper Norberto Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Taco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
