Aluminé FC's German Valiente got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubaldo Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Real Taco getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Real Taco's Albino Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Sal in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Real Taco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Vela to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Alfonso Magdaleno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albino Natal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Meder's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute.
