Hermengildo Oidor made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Carolo Bonifaco sent off a good shot on target. Hermengildo Oidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carolo Bonifaco in the 13th minute. Maciá's Hermengildo Oidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Maciá from getting a goal against them. Teobaldo Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Fagondo having to interfere. Paulo Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Oton in the 23rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Carolo Bonifaco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Oidor. Maciá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Bonifaco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Paulo Odol might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermengildo Oidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Odol ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the game, Maciá's Teobaldo Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Fagondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hermengildo Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Bonifaco in the 51st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Maciá's Teobaldo Aimar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Fagondo. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. The supporters of Llavallol AFC booed when Maciá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hermengildo Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Llavallol AFC's zone, Teobaldo Aimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Fagondo came out of the goal and Teobaldo Aimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Fagondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julio Oton in the 78th minute. After 83 minutes, Apolo Quexal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llavallol AFC and the Maciá players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Llavallol AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Apolo Quexal hit a great ball. If Julio Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Oidor came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Llavallol AFC's Carolo Bonifaco. But to his dismay, Carolo Bonifaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After some careless play in the Maciá defense, Paulo Odol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Oidor. The Maciá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Oidor should have stopped the shot. Carolo Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
