Cipolleti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benito Ruy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cipolleti's Cayetano Chuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gabirel in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Iker Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cipolleti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Natanael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorento's goalkeeper Severo Kauldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Carolo Evarado fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorento's protests and gave Carolo Evarado a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Sorento:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cipolleti:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Cipolleti. Tadeo Sol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Severo Kauldi. 1-1. When Iker Natanael came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cipolleti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Natanael couldn't finish the play. Jorge Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, Cipolleti's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Ruy came free, but Cayetano Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Jesco made a kick off. Benito Ruy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Cayetano Chuse made a huge save. Lino Ticho scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severo Kauldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iker Natanael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Severo Kauldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sorento getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rigoberto Rexino hit a great ball. Iker Natanael struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Severo Kauldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipolleti. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Ticho in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Kauldi saved Sorento from getting behind. Iker Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Kauldi having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Cipolleti got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Haitz. If Jorge Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Sorento's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Ticho came free, but Severo Kauldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Cipolleti's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Jesco came free, but Cayetano Chuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jorge Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Jesco in the 91st minute of play forced Cipolleti's goalkeeper Cayetano Chuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorento's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
