In the 12th minute, Rodrigo Abeita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red Devils's attack was well implemented in the 23rd minute, but when Maximiliano Bixintxo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Maximiliano Bixintxo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Hernan Perrando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Augusto Belmiro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Belmiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcial Cristofol's late challenge caught a Gastre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Abeita to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernan Perrando came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils's Celestino Katia. But to his dismay, Celestino Katia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Maximiliano Bixintxo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Red Devils fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Bixintxo couldn't finish the play. Gaston Ilazki struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Andres Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastre FC. If Gaston Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Gastre FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Bixintxo came free, but Hernan Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Bixintxo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Perrando having to make a save. Augusto Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Txatxu having to interfere. Gastre FC's Hernan Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Bixintxo in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Gastre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Maureo to maneuver through the defense. If Maximiliano Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gastre FC's Leandro Bikendi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andres Txatxu. That made the score 1-1 after 88 minutes of play. Andres Txatxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Ilazki in the 93rd minute.
