The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lugones AFC's Jonathan Liberto got a free kick in the 4th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Ixona couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Ixona got free with Rigoberto Hotz in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Hotz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bartolo Ixona sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Pastor Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Perrugorría AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Liberto came free, but Eliseo Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enzo Tanio to strike the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Isusko charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Isusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Lugones AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Isusko to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Ixona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Lugones AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Neto came free, but Rigoberto Hotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Fernan Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lugones AFC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Hotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ezequiel Isusko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 65th minute, Ezequiel Isusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Hotz having to interfere. Dante Neto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Hotz having to make a save. Rigoberto Hotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Neto scored 1-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Hotz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 89 minutes, Zacarias Quentin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lugones AFC and the Perrugorría AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Perrugorría AFC booed when Lugones AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Perrugorría AFC were awarded a corner. Gabriel Caradaro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lugones AFC's goalie and right to Bartolo Ixona. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lugones AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
