In the 16th minute, Carolo Luke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Pasleam's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Herena came free, but Fernando Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The long shot by Aristides Gamus in the 20th minute really tested Fernando Ospetsu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fernando Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Herena in the 21st minute of play. With his leg Fernando Ospetsu managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Chachapoyas FC's Inocencio Bittor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Haroldo Herena came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chachapoyas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Herena couldn't finish the play. Fernando Ospetsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Aaron Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th match minute, Chachapoyas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Martxelin to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Olentzaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rafael Ourente. Chachapoyas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Haroldo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aaron Martxelin fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chachapoyas FC's protests and gave Aaron Martxelin a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Herena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inocencio Bittor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Carolo Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pasleam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Aaron Francesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Haroldo Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rafael Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Atauri charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marciano Atauri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Chachapoyas FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Atauri. Fernando Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Herena in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasleam's goalkeeper Fernando Ospetsu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haroldo Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fernando Ospetsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Ospetsu was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Chachapoyas FC's Valentin Peli got a free kick in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Olentzaro in the 97th minute of play forced Chachapoyas FC's goalkeeper Rafael Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
