Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match, Alejandro Firmin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaudencio Fagildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Feliberto Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Garci having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Ciriaco Jon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Funes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Alejandro Firmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Green Day FC's Gaudencio Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Evangelista in the 12th minute of play. Feliberto Ted took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Garci. Ovidio Garci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Ciriaco Jon fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Funes's protests and gave Ciriaco Jon a yellow card for diving instead. Green Day FC made a substitution. Hernan Patrido replaced Benedicto Galtero. In the 19th minute, Ciriaco Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Wilfredo Urdaspal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Day FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Urdaspal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Garci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabricio Urti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Green Day FC's Gaudencio Fagildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Green Day FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Funes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jorge Indar hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Hernan Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alejandro Firmin came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Funes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Firmin couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Ted to make the kick off. Gaudencio Fagildo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Funes's Ciriaco Jon. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Firmin in the 63rd minute of play forced Green Day FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Fagildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Firmin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Funes getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alejandro Firmin hit a great ball. Benigno Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Garci having to interfere. Gaudencio Fagildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Funes's goalkeeper Ovidio Garci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Ted. Alejandro Firmin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Israel Evangelista hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of Green Day FC booed when Funes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Geofredo in the 83rd minute of play. Funes's Ovidio Garci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Funes from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Fagildo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Funes's Israel Evangelista. But to his dismay, Israel Evangelista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Gaudencio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Firmin in the 90th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Funes could leave the field as winners, despite Green Day FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
