The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Firmin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Vigil in the 52nd minute of play forced Funes's goalkeeper Ovidio Garci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funes the free kick. A collision led to Tobuna getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. With an all-out effort, Funes's Serafin Inge threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejandro Firmin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tobuna's Serafin Inge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Tobuna from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd match minute, Funes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Urti to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Laffitte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Ciriaco Jon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Funes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciriaco Jon got free with Serafin Inge in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Evelio Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
