Jonatan Brion was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, one of Espartillar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Constitución FC a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Blas Peter, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Espartillar's Placido Nabar. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Malvin in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Placido Nabar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 98 minutes into the match, Edgardo Malvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Nabar. Espartillar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Malvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
