The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Espigas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Davut Oruz 9 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Ferrer in the 14th minute of play forced Espigas's goalkeeper Leonel Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Leonel Ipar managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Chapa FC's Aureliusz Rosiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espigas's goalkeeper Leonel Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pastor Juvenal's late challenge caught a Chapa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Juvenal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th match minute, Espigas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. Chapa FC's Aureliusz Rosiewicz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Modesto Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Chapa FC's Ernesto Ferrer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonel Ipar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 38th minute Aureliusz Rosiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pastor Juvenal was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. 41 minutes into the match, Aureliusz Rosiewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonel Ipar, 4-1. If Aureliusz Rosiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Rosiewicz in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Dominix was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Colon during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Celedonio Dominix fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espigas's protests and gave Celedonio Dominix a yellow card for diving instead. Celedonio Dominix hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Chapa FC's Aureliusz Rosiewicz in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espigas's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Espigas's Cleto Colon got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Modesto Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Modesto Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Espigas's Leonel Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davut Oruz in the 70th minute of play. Ernesto Ferrer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Ipar having to make a save. In the 75th minute Ernesto Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Aureliusz Rosiewicz put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leonel Ipar. Aureliusz Rosiewicz struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Leonel Ipar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapa FC. Artemio Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience held their breath when Fausto Urki in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Astor Jorrin's left hand side. Aureliusz Rosiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Leonel Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
