Enrique Baldovino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Daireaux FC's zone, Melquiades Mitxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Baldovino came out of the goal and Melquiades Mitxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Daireaux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Mitxel came free, but Enrique Baldovino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo Baudelio struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Enrique Baldovino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD ASTROS. CD ASTROS's Teo Baudelio got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dalmacio Dolcet came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Daireaux FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Dolcet couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Teo Baudelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Baldovino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Baudelio charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Baudelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Daireaux FC booed when CD ASTROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Baudelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Mitxel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Baldovino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Daireaux FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Mitxel came free, but Enrique Baldovino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Baldovino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Mitxel in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Baudelio to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaston Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Gaston Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Dalmai, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gaston Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Dalmai in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Rodrigo Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Veto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Baldovino having to interfere. If Teo Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Dalmacio Dolcet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Melquiades Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the CD ASTROS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Mitxel couldn't finish the play. CD ASTROS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
