Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hilario Cruz made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Gurutz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Geofredo. After a defensive mix-up in Teodelina FC's zone, Ovidio Bilbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Gurutz came out of the goal and Ovidio Bilbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Gurutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Miliano kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Natalio Geofredo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauricio Gurutz. Natalio Geofredo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Natalio Geofredo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hilario Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teodelina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Jatsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinicio Jatsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Cruz in the 27th minute of play. Natalio Geofredo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Mauricio Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavaisse. In the 32nd minute, Octavio Daunte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Jatsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Hilario Cruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Jatsu. Lavaisse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hilario Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Erasmo Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vinicio Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lavaisse's Ovidio Bilbo in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Teodelina FC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natalio Geofredo to make the kick off. Mauricio Gurutz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 minutes, Erasmo Gamus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teodelina FC and the Lavaisse players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Teodelina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Gamus to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Gurutz having to interfere. Lavaisse's Vinicio Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Cruz in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Natalio Geofredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Gurutz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Geofredo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Teodelina FC's Hilario Cruz got a free kick in the 96th minute.
