Spectators: 6682 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elpidio Transito took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Cadillal AFC booed when Villafañe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cadillal AFC defense, Samuel Bidari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Rufo. The Cadillal AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Rufo should have stopped the shot. Alejo Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Edelmiro Vermudo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Alejo Rufo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villafañe. Leon Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alejo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Cadillal AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Manny to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Transito in the 28th minute of play. Edelmiro Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alejo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Padro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villafañe! After 47 played minutes Villafañe got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Reyes. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edelmiro Vermudo made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Villafañe's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Lon came free, but Arnulfo Gonsalve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Samuel Bidari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villafañe and the Cadillal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Samuel Bidari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Natalio Todor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Gonsalve skillfully saved the ball. If Elpidio Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Transito struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. When Elpidio Transito came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cadillal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Transito couldn't finish the play. If Edelmiro Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cadillal AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Elpidio Transito hit a great ball. Edelmiro Vermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
