Ramon Llope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chichinales AFC. In the 18th minute Siro Clis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes Huejeda got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Marques. Ismael Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Ixona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ruben Orzaize was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 49th minute Clodoveo Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Gaskon to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Donato Intxixu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chichinales AFC and the Huejeda players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chichinales AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Donato Intxixu hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Chichinales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Gaskon came free, but Ruben Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Erroman in the 60th minute of play forced Huejeda's goalkeeper Ramon Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Froilan Francesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ramon Llope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Gaskon in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Clodoveo Ixona fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ramon Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Clis in the 82nd minute of the match. Chichinales AFC's Hugo Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Siro Clis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chichinales AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Clis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Llope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Llope took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Clis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Huejeda had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
