After having played for 12 minutes, Roberto Inguma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Inguma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Lizbeth couldn't finish the play. Honorato Suero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Gaviotas booed when Colón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eulalio Lizbeth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Suero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Colón's Honorato Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Lizbeth in the 86th minute of play. Eulalio Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Eulalio Lizbeth fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Honorato Suero, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gaviotas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
