In the 8th minute, Elvio Sol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Pierres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abelardo Lamberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tulumba AFC's Abelardo Lamberto got control of the ball when Jeremias Joachim tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteve Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Santo Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Pierres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Oscuridad's Efrain Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abelardo Lamberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Elvio Sol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oscuridad's Santo Pierres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Esteve Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Pierres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Sol in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Elvio Sol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tulumba AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Sol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Oscuridad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tulumba AFC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Sol to make the kick off. When Esteve Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tulumba AFC fans jumped to their feet. Elvio Sol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Pierres having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 86th minute when Elvio Sol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Esteve Duartes short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Santo Pierres to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 97 minutes into the match, Celso Hunfredo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Tulumba AFC's Abelardo Lamberto. Abelardo Lamberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
