Eriberto Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Timo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Alvarez saved Tacural FC from getting behind. Betinho Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lucos FC booed when Tacural FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Niva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Alvarez came out of the goal and Betinho Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betinho Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Alvarez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lucos FC's Baldomero Timo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Timo to make the kick off. When Ladislao Gauargi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacural FC's protests and gave Ladislao Gauargi a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Tacural FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Gauargi. Basilio Sugar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Hanni in the 59th minute of the match. Tacural FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Timo in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Betinho Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Timo in the 84th minute of play forced Tacural FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lucos FC's Baldomero Timo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Federico Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Sugar having to interfere. Lucos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
