Federico Rios came out of the goal and Maximino Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Julio Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Ler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Ramirez went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Hugo Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Club Lobos's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Ramirez came free, but Efrain Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Frutos's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Frutos was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Ler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Eneto in the 54th minute of the match. Efrain Ler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Eneto in the 58th minute of play. Hugo Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Rios having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Eneto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Efrain Ler. That made the score 1-3 in the 64 minute of play. With a little luck, Club Lobos's Efrain Ler got control of the ball when Julio Ramirez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Hugo Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
