Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Frutos kicked off to start the match. Hugo Frutos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ildefonso Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Perrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute of the match Flavio Ferrer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Ler skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Lobos's Rodolfo Vincente got a free kick in the 13th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Pearson's Domingo Osorio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Ler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hugo Frutos struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ildefonso Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Lobos. Maximino Perrando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Brais's late challenge caught a Pearson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Brais helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Lobos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Pearson. Flavio Ferrer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Efrain Ler. 2-0. Octavio Valery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Ler having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luciano Qwinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pearson's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Qwinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Octavio Valery's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Ler was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th match minute, Pearson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Leheren to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Pearson's Luciano Qwinton in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 65th match minute, Pearson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Osorio to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Ricardo Paul put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Pearson:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Lobos:s goal. Pearson:s Ildefonso Dominguez showed great skill when he stopped Baldomero Ugaitz:s penalty. If Luciano Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Club Lobos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Inocencio Colon hit a great ball. Ildefonso Dominguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Luciano Qwinton came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Pearson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Qwinton couldn't finish the play.
