But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Videl couldn't finish the play. If Rigoberto Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Etxahun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Cordaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. Inocencio Segio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herminio Adrio. Nacimienta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Amador Etxahun took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Cordaro. Ernesto Cordaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Amador Etxahun came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Nacimienta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Etxahun couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Loiola in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Bixintxo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Nacimienta FC's Herminio Adrio. Herminio Adrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Rigoberto Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Adrio was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Santo Cisco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santo Cisco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Amador Etxahun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Gaston Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Gaston Loiola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ernesto Cordaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaston Loiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ernesto Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacimienta FC's goalkeeper Herminio Adrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Cisco got free with Herminio Adrio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santo Cisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
