Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Damaso Rios kicked off to start the match. Claudio Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Rencio in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Lobos BUAP's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Rencio came free, but Claudio Brun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aaron Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 minutes of play, Hualcupén's Aaron Rencio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Brun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Eriberto Belo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernan Cilio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Damaso Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Chorache hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eriberto Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aaron Rencio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Brun having to make a save. Eriberto Belo scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Brun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Rencio made a kick off. Claudio Brun came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hualcupén's Eriberto Belo. But to his dismay, Eriberto Belo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Lobos BUAP booed when Hualcupén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Osoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Rencio struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Claudio Brun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hualcupén. Aaron Rencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eriberto Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Aaron Rencio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Brun. Aaron Rencio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 85 played minutes Lobos BUAP got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Sayveon. If Eriberto Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Aaron Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Belo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Claudio Brun made a huge save. Hualcupén's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
