Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gaston Raitin started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Endira charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfonso Endira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Humboldt got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Endira. After 6 played minutes, Roversi's Eleuterio Atarrabi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Desiderio Abel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Roversi reached it. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Humboldt's goalkeeper Desiderio Abel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Oinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ariel Gar made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Jacinto Hug sent off a good shot on target. Desiderio Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Aurre in the 16th minute of play. Silvano Aurre struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Desiderio Abel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roversi. Jacinto Hug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ariel Gar made a huge save. Gaston Raitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Roversi's Jacobo Argider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Humboldt defense, Silvano Aurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Abel. The Humboldt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Abel should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Hug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Gar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Hug in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Jacinto Hug managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Humboldt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Hug was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Raitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Hug struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ariel Gar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Humboldt. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Jacobo Argider made the kick off in the second half. Ariel Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Raitin in the 54th minute of play. Silvano Aurres short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Desiderio Abel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Roversi's Silvano Aurre got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute Jacobo Argider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Gaston Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Roversi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Humboldt:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Silvano Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roversi's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Aurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Abel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Ondino hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes Humboldt got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Endira. 83 minutes into the match, Roversi's Jacobo Argider sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacobo Argider struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Desiderio Abel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roversi. Ariel Gar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Raitin in the 87th minute of play. Silvano Aurre's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Desiderio Abel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th minute, Teobaldo Belarmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Humboldt's zone, Jacobo Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Abel came out of the goal and Jacobo Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
