Verónica's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Poz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Verónica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Gaspar Poz hit a great ball. With a little luck, Andalgalá's Danilo Barros got control of the ball when Gaspar Poz tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Poz to make the kick off. Verónica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
