In the 16th minute, Marcelo Jerico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Alvaro Onofre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Bras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Hulberto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Bras was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Mariano Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Prudencio Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. After 34 played minutes Barrancas got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Diaz. Prudencio Hulberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaston Bras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prudencio Hulberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Teo Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Bras having to interfere. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas's goalkeeper Gaston Bras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the game, German Hanot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrancas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ambil AFC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Barrancas's zone, Ernesto Umbruso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Bras came out of the goal and Ernesto Umbruso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mauricio Maju fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ambil AFC's protests and gave Mauricio Maju a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Ambil AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrancas:s goal. Rosendo Eufemio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Barrancas's Gaston Bras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Barrancas from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Teo Ugaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Bras. That made the score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Teo Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambil AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Ugaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Diaz was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Barrancas's Gaston Bras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Barrancas from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Teo Ugaitz could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Gaston Bras however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute, Teo Ugaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambil AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
