In the 13th minute Ramon Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Celino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Salomone hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Arsenio Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rigoberto Celino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Campeonatleticos FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Aldo Gaufred hit a great ball. Benedicto Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Ebardo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Celino saved Real Jalicinece from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Cristo Cordarrell recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Chayo. Cristo Cordarrell showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Real Jalicinece's Rigoberto Celino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Ebardo in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Campeonatleticos FC booed when Real Jalicinece was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Celino having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dante Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Cordera in the 52nd minute of play. Rigoberto Celino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well placed Arsenio Ebardo short distance shot in the 61st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 65th minute, Gervasio Monico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Jalicinece fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Salomone got free with Rigoberto Celino in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute Arsenio Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Celino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Chayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alejo Cordera went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Real Jalicinece's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Ebardo came free, but Rigoberto Celino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes Real Jalicinece's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedicto Salomone who took care of the corner kick. Campeonatleticos FC's Benedicto Salomone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rigoberto Celino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Campeonatleticos FC's Rigoberto Celino threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsenio Ebardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th match minute, Campeonatleticos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Katia to maneuver through the defense.
