Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arturo Gizon took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Ovidio Eskuin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Benvido having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Arturo Gizon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Benvido was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Jairo Gotzon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Freddy Ferrando came out and tried to block the shot, but Jairo Gotzon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Aznaro in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Ferrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 20 minutes, Ovidio Eskuin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calchaquí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Eskuin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Severo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Alegre's Arsenio Galindo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Ferrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Freddy Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Alegre's Jairo Gotzon in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calchaquí's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Calchaquí's Cayetano Berdaitz got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ovidio Eskuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Jairo Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jairo Gotzon made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Severo Gau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calchaquí's Ovidio Frutos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alegre. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Rico during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Calchaquí's Carolo Rico got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jairo Gotzon took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Ferrando. Freddy Ferrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Jairo Gotzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Rico hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jairo Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Ferrando having to interfere. A hard shot 78 in the game by Ovidio Eskuin from a close distance when the talented Jesus Benvido managed to make a qualified save. Alegre's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Calchaquí's Arturo Gizon got a free kick in the 79th minute. Arsenio Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Ferrando having to interfere. Ovidio Eskuin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Benvido having to interfere. If Arturo Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calchaquí players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alegre.
