The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Misael during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Lucio Misael hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lucio Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Misael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Faro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Elizardo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Elizardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Olivia booed when Chelsea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ciriaco Faro managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Chelsea FC's Lucio Misael fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcelo Laurentzi's late challenge caught a Chelsea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Laurentzi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Olivia getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Marcelo Laurentzi hit a great ball. 33 minutes in the game, Florentino Enol fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ciriaco Faro having to interfere. Romulo Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Faro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Misael in the 39th minute. Zeledon Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Enol might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Enol ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Olivia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Gil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match, Zeledon Gil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romulo Semeno saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Olivia's Emanuel Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Zeledon Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olivia and the Chelsea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olivia's Ciriaco Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Enol in the 63rd minute of play. Romulo Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Gil in the 70th minute of the match. Emanuel Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Semeno having to interfere. In the 77th minute Zeledon Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Gil in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Semeno saved Chelsea FC from getting behind. Romulo Semeno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Eguerdi went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Romulo Semeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Eguerdi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Misael in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Tello during the 95th minute. Ciriaco Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Misael in the 96th minute of play. The Olivia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
