Paulino Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Paulino Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Eufemio in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Lázaro Gustau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulito and the Rodeo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulino Berriotxoa came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodeo FC's Agustin Tolino. But to his dismay, Agustin Tolino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Adrian Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Rodeo FC's Camilo Leoncio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Rodeo FC from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Rodeo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Azeari came free, but Camilo Leoncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Paulito defense, Agustin Tolino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Berriotxoa. The Paulito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Berriotxoa should have stopped the shot. Paulito's Paulino Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Tolino in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Abastas during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Paulito booed when Rodeo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Abastas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulino Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Eufemio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Bemabe scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Berriotxoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Eufemio was the one to do the kick off. Artemio Primeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Primeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Paulito getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Artemio Primeiro hit a great ball. Israel Bemabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Paulino Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Eufemio in the 62nd minute of play forced Paulito's goalkeeper Paulino Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Agustin Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodeo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Jose Eufemio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Paulito getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cosme Otsoa hit a great ball. Paulino Berriotxoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Eufemio in the 72nd minute. Anastasio Txema recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Txema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Paulino Berriotxoa made a huge save. A collision led to Paulito getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Melchor Telo hit a great ball. When Rodeo FC's Jose Eufemio, in the 76th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Rodeo FC. Agustin Tolinos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Paulino Berriotxoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodeo FC's Agustin Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Azeari struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Camilo Leoncio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paulito. Agustin Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Paulino Berriotxoa made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Anastasio Txema sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Rodeo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paulito.
