Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Ruperto Oliveiro made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Edelmiro Efren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lions MX's Saturnino Mikelats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Lions MX from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Lions MX's zone, Conrado Herena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Mikelats came out of the goal and Conrado Herena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Domeka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Efren's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Edelmiro Efren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Domeka having to interfere. Prudencio Domeka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Gaitan in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Conrado Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalada AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Herena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Herena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Gaitan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Domeka saved Escalada AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Gaitan in the 24th minute of play forced Escalada AFC's goalkeeper Prudencio Domeka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Efren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Prudencio Domeka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jacobo Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Gaitan in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Domeka saved Escalada AFC from getting behind. Jacobo Gaitan took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prudencio Domeka. Prudencio Domeka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 41st minute Jacobo Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Escalada AFC booed when Lions MX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Tiniebra didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ruperto Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Jacobo Gaitan might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prudencio Domeka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Gaitan ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute, Ruperto Oliveiro made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Mikelats. Lions MX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Escalada AFC's zone, Edelmiro Efren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Domeka came out of the goal and Edelmiro Efren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Gaitan succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Saturnino Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Herena in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Jacobo Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prudencio Domeka. Escalada AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. With his leg Prudencio Domeka managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Lions MX's Jacobo Gaitan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Prudencio Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Efren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Edelmiro Efren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Domeka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Benicio Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escalada AFC's Prudencio Domeka was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Oliveiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Saturnino Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lions MX played a much better game than Escalada AFC and deserved their victory. The Escalada AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
