After 15 minutes, Saturnino Martino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Escalada AFC's Prudencio Domeka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Prudencio Domeka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Stephen in the 18th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Ranqueles FC's goalkeeper Bruno Kepa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Herena. Rogelio Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Domeka having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Stephen in the 37th minute of play forced Escalada AFC's goalkeeper Prudencio Domeka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Escalada AFC's Conrado Herena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Kepa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With his leg Prudencio Domeka managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Ranqueles FC's Rogelio Stephen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Rogelio Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Martino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Domeka having to interfere. A collision led to Ranqueles FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mariano Leizarraga hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Oliveiro in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Kepa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogelio Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Prudencio Domeka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ranqueles FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Escalada AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
