Narciso Betadur was slow to take the kick. During this time Nahuatl F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Nahuatl F.C.'s Carmelo Rutenio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Moises Lamberto. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Moises Lamberto was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Eugenio Rayman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugenio Rayman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 13th match minute, Estudiantes Tecos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Esdras to maneuver through the defense. Astor Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Checa having to interfere. Moises Lamberto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugenio Rayman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Moises Lamberto was a little too slow when Eugenio Rayman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 30th minute, Astor Firme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Checa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Firme in the 32nd minute of the match. Moises Lamberto made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Teo Joey sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Rayman in the 37th minute of play forced Estudiantes Tecos's goalkeeper Moises Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Zeledon Sansone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes Tecos and the Nahuatl F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Eugenio Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estudiantes Tecos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eugenio Rayman made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Rayman in the 66th minute of play forced Estudiantes Tecos's goalkeeper Moises Lamberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
